Matt DeHoog is the Associate Regional Director for Greater Grand Rapids. He leads and equips the Young Life staff in Greater Grand Rapids and helps start new ministries around Kent County. Matt is a Young Life kid from Greensboro, NC and has been serving the Forest Hills community for the past fourteen years—first as a volunteer leader and then as Young Life staff, eventually becoming an Area Director. He loves watching YL leaders go where kids are, sharing life with them and accepting them unconditionally with the love of Jesus. In his free time, Matt cheers for the Carolina Panthers and the UNC Tar Heels. He enjoys playing racquetball or other physical activities with friends and loves being together with his wife Molly and daughters Coby and Lucy—especially when they turn on some tunes and dance together.
